The Notre Dame Schools of General Santos City Alumni Association International Inc. successfully held its Reunion Briefing today, July 24, 2026, at the Audio Visual Room, 2nd Floor, Notre Dame-Siena College of General Santos City.
More than 30 Dameans attended the gathering, where they learned about the exciting plans for the 17th Biennial Notre Dame GSC Alumni Reunion to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA on May 13–16, 2027.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Melanie Dona, Directress of Notre Dame-Siena College, for warmly welcoming everyone and for graciously allowing the Association to hold this important briefing on campus. We also appreciate the presence of NDDU Alumni Coordinator Al Ben Ambe, whose attendance reflects the continuing partnership among the Notre Dame schools.
Representing the Alumni Association were President Orman Ortega Manansala and Board Member Ruben Tugari. The briefing was also live-streamed via the Notre Dame-Siena College Facebook Page, beginning at 9:35 AM, allowing Dameans from around the world to join the presentation virtually.
One of the highlights of the morning was a walk through our Association’s remarkable history. President Orman shared how everything began in June 1993, when 33 pioneering Dameans residing in the United States gathered in San Diego, California, for what would become the very first Notre Dame GSC Alumni Reunion.
Today, 33 years later, our Association proudly celebrates its 33rd anniversary—a meaningful milestone that beautifully mirrors the 33 alumni pioneers whose vision and friendship laid the foundation for the thriving global Damean community we enjoy today. Indeed, the rest is history, as we now prepare for our 17th Biennial Reunion in Orlando.
Attendees also enjoyed a nostalgic presentation featuring photographs from every reunion through the years, including the memorable 2025 Reunion held here in General Santos City, reminding everyone of the friendships, memories, and traditions that continue to unite Dameans across the globe.
President Orman likewise presented the exciting Orlando 2027 program and encouraged alumni who have not yet joined the Association to become official members by registering through our website.
A step-by-step video demonstration was also shown, guiding members on how to:
Register online
Activate their membership account
Download their official Membership Certificate
Download their Official Membership ID
Members were also informed that those planning to attend the Orlando Reunion who still need a U.S. Visa may request an official Travel Support Letter from the Association to accompany their visa application.
The briefing also featured representatives from our Official Orlando Reunion Travel Agency (Secha Travel & Tours), Ann and April, who explained the travel process, available packages, and patiently answered questions from participants.
The morning concluded with a group photo opportunity, marking another successful milestone as we continue building excitement for what promises to be another unforgettable international Damean gathering.
To everyone who attended in person and those who joined us online, thank you for your continued love and support for our alma mater and our global Damean family.
See you in Orlando in 2027! ![]()
