HAPPY NOTRE DAME DAY! 💚💛

September 8.

For many people, it may simply be another date on the calendar.

But for us who proudly carry the name NOTRE DAME, this day means something more.

It brings back memories.

The classrooms.

The corridors.

The friendships.

The teachers who believed in us, disciplined us, inspired us—and helped shape us into the people we are today.

Notre Dame was never just a school.

It was HOME.

And no matter how many years have passed, no matter where life has taken us, there is something about those two words—NOTRE DAME—that immediately brings us back.

Back to our younger days.

Back to the friendships that survived the years.

Back to the dreams we once had.

And back to the values that were quietly planted in our hearts and carried with us long after we left the campus.

We may belong to different generations.

We may have walked different paths.

We may now be living in different cities and different parts of the world.

But we will always share something special.

We are Notre Dameans.

And that is a bond that time and distance can never erase.

Today, I remember with so much gratitude the people who became part of our Notre Dame journey—the Sisters, priests, teachers, administrators, personnel, classmates, and friends who, in one way or another, helped make our growing-up years more meaningful.

And today, I celebrate every Notre Damean who continues to carry the values we learned with pride.

Because Notre Dame did not simply give us an education.

Notre Dame helped shape our character.

It taught us to believe.

To serve.

To care.

To strive for excellence.

And most importantly, to remember that whatever success we achieve in life means so much more when we remain grounded in faith and committed to serving others.

So today, wherever you may be, take a moment to remember.

Remember the place.

Remember the people.

Remember the memories.

And smile.

Because we were fortunate enough to have been part of something truly special.

NOTRE DAME IS NOT JUST WHERE WE STUDIED.

NOTRE DAME IS PART OF WHO WE ARE.

And it always will be.
